Chris Mullaney studied architecture at the University of Newcastle, graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture with Distinction in 2009, and a Master of Architecture with Class I Honours, the Deans Medal, and the University Medal in 2012. Chris was awarded the AIA Master of Architecture Graduate of the Year award, the AIA Construction and Practice award, and the NSW ARB’s Architect’s Medallion. His thesis project, “Muloobinba,” has received state and national recognition, receiving a commendation in the AIA NSW Design Medal, as well as a commendation in the biannual Glenn Murcutt Student Prize. His work has also been published in ARCHdaily, ¬†and Houses Magazine.
